A 252-unit apartment will soon break ground off Peña Blvd. in northeast Denver.
Called East Range Crossings, it will be located at 5801 Argonne St.
All of East Range Crossings units will be affordable — limited to residents earning 60 percent or less of the area median income.
According to Denver Office of Economic Development, it will include 12 one-bedroom units, 120 two-bedroom units, and 120 three-bedroom units.
The developer, Dominium, secured a $3 million loan from the city to build the property. Dominium is a Minneapolis-based affordable housing development and property management firm.
The project has also been awarded four percent low income housing tax credits by Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA). Private financing will fund the rest of the $65 million project cost.
Once it breaks ground April 2, it’s expected to be completed in early 2019.
